This video describes what to do if you are exposed to radioactive material during a radiation emergency. It explains that removing contamination from your body and clothes quickly is important. You should take off your outer clothing, wash with soap and water, and use clean clothes. If you cannot shower, wash uncovered skin with wipes or wet cloths. Keep used items away from others and pets. Do not use conditioner on hair, and cover any cuts while washing. You can help others or pets using gloves if possible, always washing yourself after helping them.
