About
This resource, available in document or audio, discusses how women and children face serious risks during migration, including violence, exploitation, death, and family separation. It highlights that, although gender and age are recognized as important factors shaping migration experiences, there is still limited data explaining how and why migrant women and children go missing or become separated. Research was done across Africa, the Americas, and Europe to help close this gap and identify ways to reduce risks.
