About
This journal article describes how using simulation-based training helped community hospitals get better at caring for children in emergencies. The quality improvement project used practice scenarios to teach hospital staff important skills and teamwork. After the training, hospitals were more prepared to handle pediatric patients safely and effectively. The study shows that hands-on learning can improve care for kids in places that may not see many young patients regularly.
