About
This journal article describes a program where a nurse helped community emergency rooms get better at caring for children by working with a children's hospital. The nurse taught staff, improved guidelines, and made sure the right equipment was available. After the program, emergency rooms were more prepared to treat kids and followed better care processes. The study shows that having a special nurse coordinator can help hospitals give safer and higher quality care to children in emergencies.
