About
This journal article describes a survey done in several states to learn about the work of Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators (PECCs). PECCs help make sure children get the right care in emergency rooms. The survey found that PECCs do many important tasks, like training staff and making plans for emergencies involving kids. It also showed that some hospitals have more support for PECCs than others. The results suggest that giving more resources and training to PECCs could help improve emergency care for children across different hospitals.
