This article discusses how using a field guide with volume-based dosing helped reduce medication errors in children. The study looked at mistakes made when giving medicine to pediatric patients before and after the guide was used. Results showed that having clear instructions on how much medicine to give, based on volume, made it easier for healthcare workers and led to fewer errors.
