This article describes the FORCE trial, a study looking at how to treat children with torus (buckle) fractures of the wrist. The trial compares using a sling alone versus using a cast to see which helps kids heal better and faster. It also looks at pain, movement, and how quickly children can return to normal activities. The goal is to find out if slings are as safe and effective as casts for these injuries in kids.
