About
This document describes Louisiana’s plan for handling emergencies with lots of sick or injured children. It explains how hospitals, EMS, and other groups work together to care for kids during disasters like hurricanes, accidents, or disease outbreaks. The plan covers how to move patients safely, keep families informed, and make sure hospitals have enough beds and supplies. It also lists who is responsible for what tasks and includes steps for tracking patients and sharing information between agencies so children get the help they need quickly in an emergency. This is an Annex to the Louisiana ESF-8 Preparedness and Response Network Coalition Plan.
