About
This article investigates what Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals know about human trafficking. Less than half of the 244 people surveyed had training on this topic. Those who had training were better at spotting signs of trafficking and less likely to believe myths. The study suggests EMS workers need more education on how to recognize and report human trafficking, and it shares a free online training program to help them learn more.
