This article provides a comprehensive algorithm for evaluating and managing pediatric patients with concerns about child physical abuse (CPA) trauma. Developed by the Western Trauma Association (WTA) and Pediatric Trauma Society (PTS), the algorithm is designed for use in various settings, starting from emergency room presentation through to treatment.
