This article and video abstract examine the use of pharmacologic restraints in pediatric emergency departments. In this study, the cohort of patients were 3- 21 years old. It describes how there are differences in how these medications are given to children with mental and behavioral health issues during emergency visits. The study uses data from across the country to identify these disparities.
