About
This article looks at how well basic life support (BLS) skills are performed on children and infants in moving ambulances. It describes no significant difference in BLS quality between restrained and unrestrained pediatric patients. However, for infants, the depth of chest compressions was slightly different but not clinically important. Overall, the study suggests that performing adequate BLS on infants is challenging regardless of restraint type or status.
