About
This video shows how to perform CPR on adults and infants during a cardiac emergency. If someone is unresponsive, not breathing, and has no pulse, call 9-1-1 immediately. For adults, use both hands to press firmly in the middle of the chest at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. For infants, use two fingers or thumbs for compressions at the same rate but with less depth. Trained individuals can give rescue breaths; untrained people should focus on chest compressions until help arrives. CPR helps keep blood flowing to vital organs and can save lives in emergencies.
