This webinar discusses how mass casualty incidents often involve multiple agencies and regions and necessitate a standardized response. The Model Uniform Core Criteria for Mass Casualty Incident Triage (MUCC) offers guidelines for triage systems. Recommended by national EMS bodies, MUCC instructional guidelines aid educators in teaching EMS personnel. Presenters include E. Brooke Lerner, PhD, from the Medical College of Wisconsin; Kandra Strauss-Riggs, MPH, from the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health; Leaugeay Barnes, MS, from Kapi'olani Community College; and Gam Wijetunge, NRP, from NHTSA's Office of EMS.
