The ARkStorm Scenario describes a massive storm that could hit California, similar to the 1861-62 storms. It explains how these storms, called Atmospheric Rivers, can cause severe flooding and damage. Experts warn that such an event could cost $725 billion in damages and affect millions of people. The scenario highlights the need for better preparation since current flood protections may not be enough. Unlike earthquakes, parts of these storms can be predicted days in advance.
