This report details toy-related deaths and injuries in 2021. It describes two deaths among children under 14, caused by choking and suffocation. There were about 206,400 toy-related injuries treated in emergency rooms, mostly affecting boys and kids under 14. Non-motorized scooters caused the most injuries across all age groups. The report also shows a decrease in toy-related injuries from previous years for some age groups but not for others like very young children or all ages combined.
