This one-hour webinar for school administrators discusses basic information and background about the Zika virus, Zika signs and symptoms in children, and the roles and responsibilities regarding Zika in schools. It provides information about planning for possible Zika virus transmission in K-12 schools, protecting children from mosquitoes, responding to a case of Zika in K-12 schools, and talking to children about Zika. The CDC collaborated on this webinar with the U.S. Department of Education Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools Technical Center.
