Adolescent drug overdose deaths have increased rapidly, mainly because of fentanyl. Understanding nonfatal youth opioid overdoses is limited, but studying prehospital data can provide valuable insights. This study examines prehospital encounters for youth opioid overdoses and trends before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
