About
This article is about recognizing and managing sepsis in children before they reach the hospital. It describes how early detection can save lives but is often challenging for emergency medical services (EMS). The study used focus groups to find barriers and helpful factors in identifying sepsis. Participants suggested six ways to improve care, like raising awareness and better training. The research aims to guide future improvements in treating pediatric sepsis outside of hospitals by using these findings as a roadmap for policy changes and further studies.
