About
This study looked at 407 adolescents aged 10-18 and examined the link between disasters and sleep issues. 86.5% had faced a disaster, and 67.3% had sleep problems post-disaster. A positive correlation between fear of disasters and insomnia was shown. Adolescents affected by earthquakes, pandemics, accidents, or floods had significantly higher insomnia scores. Screening for and addressing sleep problems in these adolescents can help establish healthy sleep patterns and prevent related issues.
