Schools, with their daily mass gatherings, are vulnerable to mass casualties, natural disasters, and biological incidents. This integrative review explored K-12 schools' preparedness for disasters based on 12 articles. Findings showed varying levels of preparedness, factors influencing it, and discrepancies between perceived and actual readiness. The study concludes that schools lack adequate disaster preparedness, highlighting the need for more research in this area.
