Israel initiated the "Lend a Hand" operation in December 2020, later renamed "Lend a Shoulder," aimed at COVID-19 vaccination. By February 2021, 4.8 million citizens had the first dose, with 1.8 million fully vaccinated. Despite high vaccination rates, new virus variants led to increased critical cases among younger patients. The vaccination strategy evolves with updated data. The complex operation involves various entities and faces logistical challenges, staff recruitment, and public hesitancy. Insights from this effort are shared in this webinar.
