Developed in collaboration with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the handbook addresses gaps in preparedness identified through research. It highlights the importance of coordination and resources for managing chemical incidents, providing guidance for defining roles and responsibilities during emergencies.
