This National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) Toolkit helps emergency departments (EDs) improve pediatric readiness with tools aligned to 7 key domains: Administration and Coordination; Healthcare Provider Competencies; Quality and Process Improvement; Policies, Procedures, and Protocols; Support Services; Guidelines for Improving Pediatric Safety; and Equipment, Supplies, and Medications. It supports healthcare providers and stakeholders in achieving and understanding pediatric readiness, including hospital leaders and families.
