This article describes how children aged 1–5 in Aceh, Indonesia struggled to get health care after the 2004 tsunami. Many kids did not receive the medical help they needed. The study looks at which children were most affected and why they missed out on care. It also provides ideas for improving health services during future natural disasters, so more children can get the help they need when emergencies happen again.
