About
This article examines how people felt about the help they got after the 2010 Pakistan floods. It describes a survey of 1,800 households and finds that less than 20% were satisfied with the aid. Satisfaction was higher when people received hygiene items, food, and medicines. Many still had unmet needs six months later as aid decreased. The study suggests using direct surveys to better understand what affected people need and improve future responses by focusing on those not in camps and addressing access issues more effectively.
