About

This article introduces the Communities Advancing Resilience Toolkit (CART) survey instrument, developed to assess and enhance community resilience to disasters. Through a participatory process with community organizations, the survey identifies four constructs: Connection and Caring, Resources, Transformative Potential, and Disaster Management. The survey provides valuable data for organizations and communities to evaluate resilience levels pre and post disasters or interventions.
