This study examined pandemic readiness among residents in San Patricio County in South Texas and ways in which to provide effective communication regarding pandemic influenza. The county faces unique challenges due to its demographics and location. This research sought to aid pandemic planning and recommend ways to build stronger, more resilient communities. Collaboration between government levels and community involvement are key for effective pandemic preparedness.
