About
This study was conducted at an urban hospital involving 326 healthcare employees to evaluate the impact of a pediatric disaster educational program on their knowledge. Participants showed significant improvement in test scores after the intervention, even those with no prior training in pediatric disaster management. Findings suggest that the educational intervention was effective in enhancing knowledge among attendees, especially those who do not regularly care for pediatric patients. The use of these pediatric disaster competencies is recommended to develop a standardized curriculum in the future.
