This article aimed to study the disease spectrum of pediatric patients in Baoxing, China shortly after the Lushan earthquake to aid in future medical relief efforts. A total of 220 case files were analyzed from a mobile hospital set up after the earthquake. The study found that children of various ages were affected, with common conditions including respiratory tract infections, dermatosis, and trauma. Pediatricians play a crucial role in treating and controlling infectious diseases post-earthquake. The research provides valuable insights for organizing medical resources for pediatric care during similar disaster situations.
