About
This evaluation found partial success in achieving the 3 aims of the PEDS in Disaster training program. It describes how the training was done and what people learned from it. The study involved experts from different countries like the USA, China, Mexico, and the Philippines. It will take years to reach more pediatricians and physicians in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Stronger support from Ministry of Health (MOHs) and other government agencies is needed. Integrating the training into medical education programs is another suggested approach.
