About
This study looks at how prepared families with children in an intestinal rehabilitation clinic are for disasters. It describes that many of these families do not have emergency kits or completed emergency forms from doctors. On average, their confidence in being ready for a disaster is low, rated 4.9 out of 10. The main issue found was the challenges and barriers to getting prepared. The goal is to create and give out disaster survival toolkits to help these families be better prepared in emergencies.
