                This article discusses the evolution of a pediatric field hospital in response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Project Medishare established the hospital in Port-au-Prince within 48 hours, running it for 45 days with 9 volunteer medical teams. The study evaluates the changing facility and manpower needs, as well as shifts in patient demographics over time. Initially focused on surgical cases, the hospital later saw an increase in medical admissions, leading to adjustments in care and facility management. The article highlights the importance of rapid response and adaptability in providing pediatric care during disasters with high casualties.
