This brief report provides a first hand account of the management of events in Aleppo University Hospital (AUH) on March 19, 2013 when Khan al-Assal was attacked with chemical weapons. In the hospital, 63 people were treated, with 14 civilian casualties (7 men, 6 women, and 1 child). This incident marked a disturbing trend of increased and more lethal attacks in Syria.
