About
The study looks at how different teaching methods help Israeli schoolchildren learn what to do during an earthquake. It describes three types of lessons: lectures, drills, and a mix of both. Researchers gave quizzes to 5th and 6th graders in 120 schools across the country. All groups learned more than those who didn't get any lessons, but the best results came from using both lectures and drills together. The findings suggest that combining these methods is most effective for teaching kids how to stay safe during an earthquake.
