About
This survey looks at how well emergency department staff are prepared for Ebola. It describes that many hospitals in the U.S. created special training programs during the 2013-2015 Ebola outbreak. The study found that after training, staff felt more ready and confident to handle Ebola cases. Most workers believed all hospital employees should get this training, and they trusted their equipment and hospital plans more after learning about them. Training was seen as more important than media in changing opinions about handling Ebola patients safely in hospitals.
