Parents' Awareness of Disaster Plans in Children's Early Learning Settings

This study examined parents' awareness of disaster plans in child care settings and found that many parents were unaware. Most parents knew about evacuation plans and some disaster supplies, but fewer were aware of key components like child identification. Attending disaster training events increased parental awareness of disaster plans.
