About
This article describes a study on creating and testing a questionnaire to see how ready prehospital emergency nurses (PENs) are to care for injured children. The questionnaire started with 38 questions, but only 15 were found reliable. Many nurses felt stressed when dealing with child trauma cases, showing they have little experience in this area. The study suggests the questionnaire can help improve care for injured children and support PENs' health, but more testing is needed to make it better.
