About
This study provides a cost analysis that compared using virtual reality (VR) versus live drills for training neonatal care workers in hospital evacuations. Initially, virtual reality is more expensive per participant, but over 3 years, it becomes more cost-effective than live exercises due to lower development costs per participant. Virtual reality allows spreading the initial investment across more trainees and time, while live drills have fixed costs that increase with more participants.Tags
