This article describes how a hospital in Houston dealt with Hurricane Harvey by using strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. It highlights three key leadership behaviors: adaptability, empowerment, and social justice. These behaviors helped the hospital become more resilient during the disaster. The lessons learned from this experience can be useful for other hospitals facing similar challenges in future disasters. The study aims to improve hospital performance by understanding these strategies better.
