This review examines the impact of social support on youths exposed to political violence and disasters. It discusses how these events affect mental and physical health, emphasizing the role of resilience and the importance of studying the protective effects of social support. Different personality traits may affect resilience differently. Further research, especially through long-term studies, is needed to fully understand these dynamics.
