Planning for Food Access During Emergencies: Missed Meals in Philadelphia

This study projected the impact of minor disruptions on food access for low-income households in Philadelphia. It found that short school closures could lead to a significant number of missed meals for children. The study suggests that cities should prioritize food in emergency planning to protect vulnerable populations.
