About
This observational study discusses the experience of a non-governmental disaster medical team (DMT) who provided medical care in Puerto Rico post-Hurricane Maria, 2017. They served nearly 300 residents, observing exhaustion and worsening health conditions like asthma, diabetes, and depression due to the disaster's impact. Lessons learned from their experience can benefit future response teams.
