This review aimed to assess the integration of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) with Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Through a mapping exercise and literature search, it was found that current actions include capacity building, preparedness, policy development, and resilience promotion. There is a section addressing school-based and child-focused DRR. There is little consensus on definitions and frameworks for integrating MHPSS and DRR, which highlights the need to enhance integration efforts and include proactive measures in MHPSS approaches.
