About
This review examined risk stratification methodologies regarding risk and disaster preparedness in children. It identified three critical domains - medical, educational, and social - that impact a child's vulnerability during disasters. No comprehensive tool was found. The proposed pediatric risk stratification method (PRiSM) uses existing data to categorize children's risk levels. PRiSM consists of a three-digit guide to assess complex needs. This framework aims to help plan and respond better to disasters by stratifying children's risks in advance.
