Community Reception Center (CRC) Overview Video
The 13-minute training video provides an overview of Community Reception Center (CRC) operations for public health personnel and response partners. CRCs are established post-radiation emergency to conduct population monitoring. They open 24 to 48 hours after an incident, located outside the affected area to assist both local residents and displaced individuals. Basic services include screening for contamination, decontamination assistance, long-term follow-up registration, and prioritizing further care. The video aims to familiarize viewers with the CRC process, suggesting additional resources like the CRC process flow diagram desk reference and the Population Monitoring Guide for more information.
