About
This study analyzed pediatric telemedicine services provided by Nemours CareConnect (NCC) when Hurricane Irma hit Florida in 2017. They conducted 262 telemedicine visits from September 8 to 16, with short wait and consultation times. Most visits were for respiratory issues, skin problems, fever, and gastrointestinal complaints. Patient satisfaction was high. This highlights the importance of integrating telemedicine into disaster preparedness plans for better support.
