About
This study analyzed the educational needs and disaster response readiness of 260 clinical nurses in Korea in 2019. Factors influencing readiness included years of experience, gender, workplace department, and educational needs. Nurses working in medical wards or emergency rooms showed better self-protection and response skills. Those with higher education or disaster training managed situations better. Recommendations include raising awareness of nurses' needs, developing their response capacity, and providing targeted education programs to enhance disaster competency.
