About
This study examined preparedness levels and challenges involved in mass vaccination in the United States (2018-2019). Interviews with public health officials revealed that many jurisdictions are not well-prepared for mass vaccination within a short timeframe. Challenges include lack of qualified personnel, logistical issues, and addressing high-risk populations like children. With the upcoming distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine, it is crucial to learn from these findings for future mass vaccination planning.
