About
This study looks at dengue fever in children and young adults in western Uttar Pradesh. It describes how dengue is a big health problem, especially during outbreaks. The research involved 1,026 blood samples from different age groups to find out how common dengue is. It found that older kids (13-18 years) were most affected, with more boys than girls getting sick. Two tests were used to diagnose the disease: NS1 Ag ELISA and IgM Ab ELISA, with NS1 being more effective. The study highlights the importance of early diagnosis and prevention measures like using mosquito nets and repellents.
